The crowd flowed around us like a river pulsating with a life of its own. Excitement flavored with mixed drinks fills the air and my head blissfully swam after having taken shots that some random woman gave us.

As we walked down Bourbon Street clad in our costumes and with daiquiris in hand, we paused to watch a small group of percussionists is performing in the middle of the street.

As they performed, other tourist shops blared out loud music; each having different songs. The sounds filled my head with the erratic yet rhythmic booms that vibrated through my body.

We started to walk further down when I found myself on the path of colliding with a random stranger. I felt your hand on the small of my back, pulling me close. And at that moment, we are truly experiencing organized chaos.
